· Jean-Luc Martin · London GatwickCustomer message
Absolutely disgusting car. Filthy interior, food wrappers under the seats and it smelled of smoke. Waited 40 minutes at the desk on top of that.
Agent response
Hi Jean-Luc, thank you for taking the time to share this feedback and I'm truly sorry for the experience you had at London Gatwick. This is not the standard we aim to deliver. I've escalated your case to the station manager and would like to make this right — could you please share your booking reference so we can look into a refund and an internal review? — The Europcar team
AI reasoning
Response is functional but generic. Missed an opportunity to personalise around the customer's booking, and empathy phrasing feels templated.
